Ok, I've sat by and watched Adult Swim do alot of things in the past. I love Adult Swim, I watch it every chance I get but I think they are getting a little too carried away with bashing/making fun of Christianity. I have a great sense of humor, I love to watch Family Guy and South Park with their constant attacks towards Christians and I also love to watch Adult Swim's Morel Orel, which is nothing but picking at Christianity with the parody of the old claymation David and Galioth. So, I have been patient with alot of this and have just laughed it off and never took it too serious. Adult Swim however, seem to be trying just a little too hard.

I would have to say this offends me a little as a Christian and as a person of humor, alot like that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry's dentist tells him all the Jewish jokes. Like I said before, i've been a good sport with other shows but this game Adult Swim came up with.....enough is enough. For those who don't know, Bible Fight is a flash game where you battle Bible characters with one another, alot in the way of Street Fighter or Mortal Combat. You can have fights like: Eve VS. Moses or Noah VS. Satan or even Jesus VS. his own mother Mary. I swear, the creators at this network are just trying their hardest to think of things to mimic Christians. It's like: 'ok, we've done this show, what esle can we possibly do?' Yes, I know they are using this all in humor, maybe, but you have to understand, this is dealing with people's beliefs. I mean, you saw what happened with the whole comic strip of Mohammad, it caused riots, even though it wasn't that bad. These are people's beliefs, not somthing to just constatly joke about. I've seen pictures and stickers of Jesus as a surfer, or somthing crazy and I'm just thinking......he isn't a novelty character. He isn't some fictional character you can just put sun glasses on and sell as a suviner some place. Again, for those who know me, you know I have a great sense of humor, even for things like this.

I would understand it if the people who created all this were Christians, just like black comedians make jokes about black people or even jewish writers making fun of Jews. I have a strong feeling however, that the people who make this are not Christians and are simply just making it for the sheer fun of it with out concern for it being people's beliefs.

Ok, so I guess what I'm trying to say is, enough is enough. As people of Comedy, you should know when to joke and when to stop. I think this Bible battle game is just a little too far. I'm not going to do anything really to stop it nor do I think anyone should, i'm very big on Freedom of Speech and think they have the right to do so. I'm just saying that they should really consider, as well as other programs, work on new material, instead of making fun of somthing they know won't fight back.

Also, I know alot of show's, mainly Southpark, are just trying to push the limit. They are just trying to do the most offensive things they can think of, like one episode where they have Jesus die right on the show in a very violent 'comical' way. I know they are trying to be offensive, but come on.
